Hello Park Lodge Dolphins!

February is going to continue to bring us cold and/or wet weather. Please make sure that your student comes to school with the appropriate clothing and outerwear. We have recess outside unless the weather is extreme. If your student needs a winter coat, please reach out to our school counselor, Mrs. Jorgensen, at jjorgens@cloverpark.k12.wa.us.

Inclement Weather

When hazardous weather conditions exist, please listen to the radio or watch the local television stations between 5 and 9 am. The radio and television station will announce scheduled changes for the district. Our district’s name is the Clover Park School District, not Lakewood which is a small district north of Seattle. An announcement will be made through school messenger or can be obtained via the district website. Click on School Delays and Closure icon. When there is no announcement from Clover Park School District, it means that we are moving forward with normal operations.

Watch D.O.G.S and Volunteers

We would love to have you in our school! If you are interested in joining our Watch D.O.G.S program or volunteering in our school, please reach out to our main office at 253-583-5350.

Substitutes

When teachers are absent, your student(s) may report that they spent the day in another classroom. If a substitute is not available, students will be placed into another classroom of the same grade level to receive the same grade level instruction.

Valentine’s Day

If you would like to send in treats or cards for Valentine’s Day, please reach out to your student’s teacher prior to doing so. If treats are sent in, they must be individually packaged and store-bought. If Valentine’s cards are sent in, students must bring one for every student in their classroom.
