This month brings us Read Across America Week, Classified Employees Week, Parent-Teacher Conferences, and the First Day of Spring!

Trimester 2

• Trimester 2 ends on Friday, March 6th
• Report cards for Trimester 2 will be sent home with students on Friday, March 13th

Read Across America Week

Read Across America Day is March 2nd. We are celebrating the love of literature with fun dress up days and an extra focus on reading in the classroom during the week of March 2nd-March 6th. We invite your student to participate in the spirit days and encourage families to encourage reading at home throughout the week as well!

• Monday, March 2nd: Reading is Relaxing! (Wear your pajamas or comfortable clothes)
• Tuesday, March 3rd: Reading Takes You Places! (Wear something that shows where you have traveled or want to go)
• Wednesday, March 4th: Reading Exercises the Brain! (Wear your workout clothes or something comfortable)
• Thursday, March 5th: Reading is Fun! (Wear something with words on it)
• Friday, March 6th: Reading is Amazing (Dress for your classroom theme)

Classified Appreciation Week

• March 9th-13th is Classified Appreciation Week! We will use this opportunity to show gratitude to our classified employees including our office staff, classroom/recess paraeducators, nutrition staff and custodial team. We invite you to join in this week of appreciation for these essential employees!

Conferences

• Spring Parent-Teacher Conferences will be March 11-13th.
• These will be half days at school (9:00-12:30) to allow teachers to connect with families during the afternoons. Conferences will be in-person.
• Conferences can be scheduled via Skyward
